We offer the only “Show up and Ride” in the Tonto National Forest starting from the closest trail head to the Phoenix area, trail 2123 conveniently located in north Scottsdale. This unguided, ride on your own tour is the best around. Enjoy the Off-road vehicle of your choice as you journey to the beautiful Verde River that flows all year long. From there take off on an unforgettable Arizona desert experience traveling through tight canyons, rolling, winding desert trails with track like woops and side walls, and up to the top of awesome scenic vistas. Tonto National Forest is known for its plentiful wild life and wide verities of climates, terrain, and plant life unlike no other. In this is a 30 square mile marked trail system with boundaries on all sides, it is the perfect place to experience the Arizona Desert Backcountry and never get lost.

Our guided tours Take place north of Phoenix in the Beautiful Bradshaw Mountains. The Trip begins in the lower desert near the Agua Fria river valley below the mountains. This area is awesome desert trail riding with tons of small creek and wash riding and crossings, the lower desert is full of the best desert views with the Arizona desert sky exploding with florescent colors and the mountains, speckled with veins of deep canyons carved by flash flooding rains. Giant Saguaro cactus hundreds of years old with suicide Barrel cactus twisting at their base. The desert soil sparkling with brightly colored rocks, this is a must see. Our Guides are certified and Arizona smart with a vast knowledge about all the plant life, wildlife, history, area, climate, and the ancient North American Natives who once farmed, hunted, survived, and evolved in this unforgiving desert. See ancient ruins and how they made use of this land. This area was and still is full of gold. We visit and pass by many working and abandon gold mines on the way up to Tip Top with awesome 360 degree views.
